KOS ISLAND

Situated in the South Eastern Aegean Sea, Kos is the third largest in the Dodecanese and has a reputation for being the most temperate place in the world. The island has been importantly nautically since prehistoric times and is the birth place of the father of medicine, Hippocrates, who was born there around 460BC.
Kos itself is a place of many legends, a land steeped in the countries rich mythology. This can all be experienced at the fabulous choice of museums, galleries and archaeological sites dotted around the island.
Kos town centre is vibrant, colourful and friendly with a vast choice of bars, cafes and restaurants serving traditional local food and wines.
